Traditional washing, step by step
Your rug is first carefully dusted, then soaked in a basin and shampooed in water with natural products. After a long rinse, it dries under tension in our heated rooms — which is what saves it from any distortion or rippling.
A gentle, meticulous method that preserves the fibres, revives the colours and restores the pile's lustre, where dry cleaning attacks plant dyes.
Moth treatment and protection
On request, the wash is completed by a moth treatment that protects the wool durably — essential for a rug that will stay rolled up or lie in a little-used room.
It is also the best insurance before a repair: a healthy rug works better, and the result lasts.
Storing your rugs
Moving house, renovating, summer season? We store your rugs in proper conditions — clean, treated and rolled by the rules — for as long as needed. You get them back ready to lay.
